Dr. Japinder Chahal-Jhajj, a highly skilled general dentist and the proud owner of Sunrise Dental of Federal Way, is passionate about providing exceptional dental care to her patients. Having completed her dentistry education at UWSOD (University of Washington School of Dentistry), she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her practice.

With her extensive experience working with diverse patient populations, Dr. Japinder has developed a deep appreciation for different cultures and backgrounds. Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, she effectively communicates with patients from various walks of life, ensuring they feel comfortable and understood.

When she’s not busy transforming smiles, Dr. Japinder cherishes spending quality time with her loving family. Her husband, Aman, works alongside her as the office manager, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience for all patients. Together, they have two wonderful boys, Parvaan and Paaras, aged 5 and 1, respectively.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Japinder has a zest for life and enjoys exploring new destinations, immersing herself in different cuisines, and maintaining an active lifestyle at the gym. Her dental expertise lies in cosmetic dentistry, extractions, and implants, allowing her to create beautiful, healthy smiles for her patients. Dr. Japinder Chahal’s commitment to her profession, combined with her genuine care for her patients’ well-being, makes her an outstanding dentist who is dedicated to providing exceptional dental services at Sunrise Dental of Federal Way.

Amanveer Singh, Office Manager

Amanveer Singh is a dedicated professional juggling dual roles as a 7-Eleven store owner and office manager at Sunrise Dental of Federal Way. With a strong commitment to both business and healthcare, he thrives in providing convenience and top-notch dental care to his community. Beyond work, Amanveer is a devoted family man, cherishing moments with his two children and his wife. His passion for family is mirrored in his eagerness to welcome and care for patients at the dental clinic. Amanveer's genuine dedication to his family and patients reflects his wholesome approach to life and work, leaving a positive impact in all he does.

Megan, Front Desk

Megan was born and raised in the Renton area. She has been an active part of the dental field since 2001. She started as a dental assistant where she quickly became passionate about dentistry. Megan is quick to make patients feel at ease by building confidence, trust and friendship with each patient. Her spunky personality and understanding nature make it easy for patients to feel comfortable. Megan began working in the front office after having her 2nd child in 2019 and still enjoys working in the back when needed. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gun range, spending time with family and doing crafts with her youngest daughter.

Thuy, Dental Assistant

Thuy has been in the dental field for over 20 years and joined the Sunrise Dental team 14 years ago. Known for her compassionate and friendly demeanor, Thuy ensures patients feel comfortable and at ease during their dental visits. Born and raised in Vietnam, she currently resides in Tacoma with her husband and two daughters. Outside of the dental office, Thuy loves to garden, beautify her home, and volunteer at the local temple.
